For me, this was more than just winning a trophy because not many people understand what it took just for me to be standing on that stage.
Not many people realize that I was standing on that stage one year prior, only for me to then receive a heartbreaking message from the producers explaining that for some reason, the network had decided to cut the segment.
It would have been easy to quit then but after 3 days of sulking I decided that I wasn't ready to give up.
I told myself that if Fool Us was renewed, I would do 5 things.
1. Create a new and original routine 2. Get the producers to like it 3. Come back on the show 4. Make it to air 5. Fool Penn & Teller
Fool Us changed my life forever and the experience opened my eyes to some new perspectives.
You never know when you're on the brink of something incredible and you'll never find out unless you give it your all.
